Nosophobia

The word Nosophobia means an obsession or persistent fear of getting an illness. In that sense, this piece is inspired in some thoughts about the pandemic and how it affected to a lot of families. When the pandemic started, lots of people that used to survive with the money that they could generate daily had to decide between stay home and not having anything to eat, or go to work and having the risk of getting infected. The use of the newspaper represents how the news of the covid-19 were arriving to Peru and increasing the fear in the people. That, added to the need of working and the cares that people had to take for not getting infected caused different problems of physical and emotional anxiety.
